Water legislation-Water resources management and water services legislation administered by the Dept

The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation supports the Minister for Water in administering water resources management and water services legislation.

The department is leading the development of a new Water Reform Bill. It will consolidate the six water resource management acts into one and deliver more effective water resources management solutions for Western Australia.

The Water Reform Bill will also update the Water Services Act 2012 which administers water services in Western Australia.
